Mesna

mesna (oral/injection)

Mesna is used to prevent bleeding in the bladder (hemorrhagic cystitis) during chemotherapy with ifosfamide (Ifex). Mesna will not prevent other side effects caused by ifosfamide. Mesna may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
